Authentic Hmong cooking from a family kitchen — clear pork broths, sticky rice, fresh spring rolls and slow-braised pork belly, served with the warmth of home.
S&B Hmong Kitchen serves authentic Hmong cuisine from a stall inside Madison's Global Market and Food Hall. Guests come for the pork belly clear broth kao poob, fresh spring rolls, whimsically purple sticky rice, richly caramelized braised pork belly and a creamy red curry with shrimp — plated fast, seasoned with care, and priced for an everyday lunch.
"The sausage was pretty good and the dipping sauce made it even better. The sticky rice was pretty good too but I wish there was more sausage for the amount of rice — the portions for rice were generous while the sausage was not as much."
"Got the red curry with shrimp. Not bad, but the shrimp could have been bigger. Either way it was OK spicy, and nice and creamy."
"I ordered purple sticky rice and braised pork belly. Rice is just sticky rice — good texture and pleasant if plain. I do love the color though, it's very whimsical. The pork belly? Holy god. Absolutely delicious. 10/10."
